Who am I?
My name is Elpida. I am a translator and language professional specializing in social sciences and humanities texts.
I provide translation, back translation, proofreading, subtitling, and transcreation services, working primarily with English ↔ Greek and Turkish → Greek language pairs. My broader linguistic background includes Greek, English, Turkish, German, and Spanish.
I work with a strong focus on accuracy, cultural nuance, and readability, helping clients communicate effectively across languages and audiences. My technical toolkit includes Trados Studio 2024, Subtitle Edit, and Adobe InDesign.
Beyond my professional work, I have a longstanding interest in literature, linguistics, and language learning. I am passionate about the role of language in shaping meaning, culture, and human connection.
